Giving life everywhere that we go.

This is less about where we go and ALL about WHO we go with. We desire to bring the reality of Jesus Christ everywhere that we go. Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Jesus is already at work in the World & we would not even begin to pretend that we are bringing Him somewhere that He is not already working. Through every mission trip we will encourage, support, and lift up those who are serving tirelessly in the location we are traveling to, whether that means Mexico, Washington D.C., New York City, or Williamsburg.

Washington D.C., February 17-19, 2012 | Blog 3.

This morning we got to work with an organization called Samaritan's Feet. We were a part of washing kids' feet and giving them a pair of new socks and shoes. At first when I started washing people's feet it was a little strange but, I got used to it... kinda.I really enjoyed it though. It was very different and now I can say I washed someone's feet. Afterwards I was just thinking back and seeing what I could have done better and hopefully I will have another chance to do it. It always amazes me when I can do something that Jesus did it just blows me away. But when I really think about my life I just want to make what I do better.

I love serving and I want to serve all the time because I love to know that I am making someone's day or just even giving to them my time and talking and praying for them - really letting them know that someone cares. I think that's what everyone wants in life, to know that people care about them. It just hurts me that people are having to deal with poverty or whatever their situation is. I am so glad that I was able to help out washing people's feet and giving them shoes and helping with Samaritan's Feet today.
